- write a pid file (eddie-pidfile.patch added), and make the init
script use it when stopping eddie. Fixing spurious restart
failures. After killing eddie, it can take some time for it to
finish, especially if it mails its logs before terminating. Not
waiting for it to actually terminate can cause the start to fail.
