- Fixed Bug 527802 - migedir hangs on ncpmount if Netware server does not
hold a replica.
The problem occurs when the eDir replica is only held by a Linux server
and the user is trying to mount a volume on the NetWare server.
There are two problems this patch fixes.
First, ncpfs is using the same NCP sequence number (seq=1) when it first
creates an NCP connection and in the NCP packet thereafter. Native NW
servers and SLES10 OES2 servers running eDir with the NCP server engine
allow this; the standalone version of eDir on Linux does not.
Second, there is a problem with NCP packet signing with eDir on Linux. I\'ve
changed ncpfs\' default packet signing level to 1 (use signing if the server
requests it). This is the default setting used by Novell\'s NCP clients.
