Changelog for ICAClient-13.9.0.102-1.1.x86_64.rpm :
Thu Mar 8 13:00:00 2018 enzokielAATTkabelmail.de
- Update to version 13.9.0.102
+ Browser content redirection
- Redirects the contents of a web browser to a client device
and creates a corresponding browser embedded within Citrix
Receiver. This feature offloads network usage, page
processing, and graphics rendering to the endpoint. Doing so
improves the user experience when browsing demanding
webpages, especially webpages that incorporate HTML5 or Flash
video. Browser content redirection is supported only on the
x86 and x64 platforms.
- For more information, see Browse content redirection and
Browser content redirection policy settings in XenApp and
XenDesktop documentation.
+ Better logging
- The retail build of standard Citrix Receiver for Linux can
now generate and send logs through syslog. This feature allows
the handling of messages to be controlled based on their level
and origin. Retail logging support is being introduced for the
Connection Sequence (WD, PD, TD, Proxy) and Printing
components. This helps users troubleshoot, and - in cases of
complicated issues - facilitate the support team\'s job by
using the detailed logs available. The log output is similar
to the current debugging mode.
- The logging parameters, log level, log file, log method
(sequence, multi-sequential, cycle), and the module to be
logged can be configured using configuration files. For
information about enabling retail logging, see Enabling
retail logging.
+ Support for Citrix Ready workspace hub
- Citrix Ready workspace hub provides a secure connection to
authorized apps and data. With this release, Citrix Receiver
for Linux enhances the implementation for workspace hub
plug-in, which enables support for the Citrix HDX RealTime
Optimization Pack and dual monitors connected to a workspace
hub.

Sat Dec 9 13:00:00 2017 joerg.lorenzenAATTki.tng.de
- Update to version 13.8.0.10299729
+ Support for Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) authentication
- You can use Azure AD to enable user access.
+ Support for Workspace configuration
- You can configure workspaces for subscribers, who might be
using one or more services available from Citrix Cloud.

Wed Nov 8 13:00:00 2017 joerg.lorenzenAATTki.tng.de
- Installed TeleSec GlobalRoot certificates.

Fri Sep 22 14:00:00 2017 joerg.lorenzenAATTki.tng.de
- Update to version 13.7.0.10276927
+ Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) integration:
- Citrix Receiver for Linux integrates the Customer Experience
Improvement Program to help improve the quality and
performance of Citrix products by collecting anonymous
statistics and usage information. By default, CEIP is
enabled, and you can always opt-out.
- For more information, see About the Citrix Customer
Experience Improvement Program (CEIP).
+ Using Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) to support
Enlightened Data Transport (EDT) connections:
- This allows secure external access to resources hosted in
XenApp and XenDesktop environments using the EDT protocol.
- For more information, see Configuring NetScaler Gateway to
Support Enlightened Data Transport.

Wed Jul 12 14:00:00 2017 joerg.lorenzenAATTki.tng.de
- Update to version 13.6.0.10243651
+ Adaptive transport:
- Adaptive transport for XenApp and XenDesktop optimizes data
transport by leveraging a new Citrix protocol called EDT
(Enlightened Data Transport) in preference to TCP whenever
possible. Compared to TCP and UDP, EDT delivers a superior
user experience on challenging long-haul WAN and Internet
connections, while maintaining high server scalability and
efficient use of bandwidth. EDT is built on top of UDP and
improves data throughput for all ICA virtual channels
including Thinwire display remoting, file transfer (Client
Drive Mapping), printing, multimedia redirection and others.
When UDP is not available, adaptive transport automatically
reverts to TCP.
- You must enable the HDX adaptive transport policy setting in
Citrix Studio. You can disable it from Receiver settings.
- Currently this feature is supported only for direct
connections without going through NetScaler Gateway.
+ Joint Server Certificate Validation Policy - Citrix Receiver
for Linux 13.6 and later introduces a new, stricter, validation
policy for server certificates to ensure a continuous
improvement of client security. For more information, see
Knowledge Center articles CTX224709 and CTX221453.

Sat Mar 18 13:00:00 2017 joerg.lorenzenAATTki.tng.de

+ Support for multi-stream ICA.
+ Support for HTML5 video redirection.
+ Support for GStreamer 1.x.
+ Support for the Server Name Indication (SNI) extension to TLS.
This allows a server hosting multiple secure sites to present
the correct certificate to Citrix Receiver.

Wed Aug 31 14:00:00 2016 joerg.lorenzenAATTki.tng.de
- Update to version 13.4.0.10109380
+ Desktop Viewer Toolbar.
+ Support for Relative Mouse and Absolute Mouse modes.
+ Credential insertion SDK (CISDK) for proximity card and thin
client OEM integration.
+ SecMaker CID supported.
+ Selective H264 supported.
- Those who use SoC SDK may be required to update the H264
optimization.
+ Improvements to the authentication dialogs.
- Receiver for Linux now allows the title of its authentication
dialogs to be changed by a HTTP response header with the name
X-Citrix-AM-Title. A user can more easily tell what their
logging onto.
+ Enhanced FTU experience particularly when using SMS
authentication.
- For more information, see
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX205892.
+ Enhanced default smart card support
- When connecting to a StoreFront server that allows smart card
authentication, if no value has been set for “PKCS11module”
in the $ICAROOT/config/AuthManConfig.xml configuration file,
Receiver now uses the opensc-pkcs11.so driver if it finds it
in one of the standard locations. This means that it may
prompt for you to insert a reader or card without any change
to AuthManConfig.xml. If you do not wish to use a smart card,
select the “Log on with another method” link.
+ As part of the continuing work to improve security, Receiver
for Linux now uses version 1.0.1t of OpenSSL for TLS
connections.
