* Wed Mar 19 2003 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.2-1.cvs- update to 0.9.2- merged with freshrpms.net alsa-driver source rpm, more \"correct\" handling of the devices (no longer uses snddevices script to create all devices), better handling of the module compilation defines (instead of the gross hack of patching /boot/kernel.h). Thanks to Matthias Saou for a more correct way of handling the device files. The change was also made because otherwise freshrpms alsa users have problems when upgrading to a newer planet ccrma alsa package.- remove automatic creating of devices (post of main package)- obsolete old kernel modules package to enable upgrade- kept old naming style, kernel version embedded in package name (instead of inside release number)- kept old dependency, alsa-driver requires alsa-kernel, not the other way around (which fails on an apt-get install of all alsa packages)
* Tue Mar 11 2003 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.1-1.cvs- woohoo!! 0.9.!1!, time to roll back the release number to \"1\", this is after two years almost to the exact date (first 0.9 build documented in this changelog dates from March 10 2001...
* Tue Mar 04 2003 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-45.1- cvs: 03/04/2003- added alsaconf to the file list, added \"Obsoletes:\" to previous alsaconf package- changed to use default _prefix

* Mon Feb 17 2003 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-44.2- cvs: 02/17/2003
* Thu Feb 06 2003 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-44.1- cvs: 02/07/2003
* Tue Jan 21 2003 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-44- cvs: 01/21/2003
* Fri Jan 17 2003 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-44- cvs: 01/17/2003- no longer hardwire kernel source directory or system map file, current alsa cvs finds all the stuff with no problems- patch makefile to silence depmod errors, remove hack to copy all kernel modules to the install tree - so we now ignore the errors- borrowed commnand line build options from freshrpms.org src.rpm
* Mon Dec 30 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-43.2- cvs: 12/30/2002

* Sat Jul 20 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-34- cvs: 07/19/2002, small patch to fix symbol export for msnd module
* Sat Jul 06 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-33- cvs: 07/5/2002- when removing kernel and alsa rpms together the System.map can be erased by the time we execute the postun script, check it is there before the depmod
* Tue Jun 11 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-31.2- add forced kernel version in depmod so that when we install the package but we are not yet running a new kernel dependencies are stored correctly
* Sat Jun 01 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-31.1- cvs: 05/31/2002- changed requires and provides to include version and release numbers. This is so that an alsa-driver package can have more than one modules package installed (for different kernels) but will require at least one that matches the current version. This will make it possible to get dependencies to work right, installing a new version of alsa will pull the modules driver through dependencies, this was not happening before (needed for apt-get for rpm)- fixed dependency of the modules package for smp and up kernels
* Fri May 31 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano - do the final make outside of the cvscompile script so that we can use all processors in an smp machine- use SYSTEM_MAP_OPT to point to the proper System.map file in /boot- spec file cleanups
* Thu May 16 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-30- cvs: 05/15/2002
* Sat Apr 20 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-29- cvs: 04/19/2002
* Fri Jan 25 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-26- cvs: 01/25/2002- location of all modules has changed, apparently all drivers are installed in subdirectories of the sound directory
* Thu Jan 03 2002 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-25- cvs: 01/03/2002- copy all the kernel modules so that an depmod -ae is happy- updated alsa-get-cvs, create only one tarball with the whole alsa tree
* Mon Nov 26 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-22- cvs: 11/26/2001 (post beta9)
* Sat Nov 24 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-21- cvs: 11/24/2001 (post beta9)
* Fri Nov 23 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-20- cvs: 11/23/2001 (post beta9)- changed (yet again...) the rpm naming to be saner. The main alsa driver rpm is named \"alsa-driver\" and contains documentation, header files, the alsasound startup script and the snddevices device creation script. This rpm can be updated when a new driver is compiled without any conflicts with previous versions. All the kernel modules are packaged in a second rpm named alsa-driver-\"kernel_version\". More than one can be installed at any one time so that versions for more than one kernel are available. - added additional doc files
* Wed Nov 21 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-19- cvs: 11/21/2001 (post beta9)- TODO: resolve alsasound conflict between versions
* Wed Oct 03 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-18- cvs: 10/02/2001
* Tue Sep 18 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-17- cvs: 9/17/2001- separated header files into another package. This is necessary as we want to be able to install the alsa drivers for several installed kernels. We can only install the headers for one kernel but all of them can have the driver modules installed: rpm -ivh alsa-driver-x.x.x-[VERSION].i386.rpm rpm -Uvh alsa-driver-headers-[VERSION].i386.rpm
* Sat Sep 01 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-16- cvs: 8/31/2001
* Fri Aug 31 2001 Fernando Lopez-Lezcano 0.9.0-15- cvs: 8/30/2001- added kversion to the installed snddevices script so that different versions of the driver for different kernels do not conflict
