Summary : The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) kernel modules (CVS: 20040229.154044)
|
Description :
The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) provides audio and MIDI functionality to the Linux operating system. ALSA has the following significant features: Efficient support for all types of audio interfaces, from consumer soundcards to professional multichannel audio interfaces, fully modularized sound drivers, SMP and thread-safe design, user space library (alsa-lib) to simplify application programming and provide higher level functionality as well as support for the older OSS API, providing binary compatibility for most OSS programs.
This package contains the kernel modules for package kernel version 2.4.25-1.ll.rh80.ccrma, compiled for the i586 architecture.
This rpm is based on the experimental CVS version of alsa downloaded on 20040229.154044. Handle with care.
