Summary : The GNU C/C++ Compiler for Atmel AVR with xmega support
|
Description :
This compiler supports the C and C++ languages on AVR microprocessors. Also required: cross-avr-binutils and avr-libc.
This is a default gcc cross-target build as per GNU instructions. This package can be installed in parallel with other avr-gcc packages, so multiple avr-gcc versions can be installed. To run a specific version, either call the program like avr-gcc-462 or put the gcc version\'s bin directory /opt/cross/avr/lib/gcc/avr/4.6.2/bin first into PATH. A script helps with the latter, to e.g. run the Arduino IDE and have it use this gcc, run run-avr-gcc-462 arduino
