Summary : A three-dimensional texture mapping engine.
|
Description :
Crystal Space is a 6DOF (6 Degrees of Freedom) 3D engine (like Quake) with static colored lighting (unlike Quake). Crystal Space can display many different features, including shaded perspective texture mapping, MIP mapping, sub-pixel and sub-texel accuracy, portal rending, static lighting with precomputed shadows, dynamic lighting with fixed position but correct shadows or moveable lighting without shadows, colored lighting, transparent and semi-transparent textures, support for mirrors, support for BSP rendering, support for moving objects and movement-controlling scripts, 3D triangle mesh sprites, and more. After installing the cryst package, see \'docs/document.txt\' for a complete list of features and explanations about the algorithms used in Crystal Space.
