Description :
The id-utils package contains very fast and high capacity indexing tools
for C/C++ code. The mkid command creates an index for a virtually
unlimited number of files, the lid command queries the index (allowing you
to quickly find what files contain a particular identifier or numeric
literal), and the gid command shows you all lines in which an identifier
occurs.
