Description :
XBattle is a multi-player strategy game for the X Window System. The
game board is a matrix of game cells which can be occupied by troops
of different number and allegiance; troops of different allegiance
fight whenever they occupy the same cell. Play is concurrent. In
other words, there are no turns and players take action whenever they
want. For more of a challenge, XBattle allows you to configure
numerous game options: the shape of cells; the terrain; production and
loss of troops; using a horizon to hide enemy troops; and more.
If you want to install the xbattle package, you\'ll need to have the
X Window System (R4 or better). You\'ll also need at least two
X consoles or terminals connected to a common network. XBattle will
look best on a color monitor, but color monitors are not required.
