Summary : A voice controlled, resonator based instrument for jack
|
Description :
This is the first release of a voice controlled, resonator based instrument for the jack-audio-connection-kit. Playing it the first time it reminded me to the sound and playing technique of a didgeridoo. Thats the reason for its name.
Requirements: - A microphone with near fields characteristics for instrument control. - A headphone to avoid feedback. - The jack-audio-connection-kit. - A i586 compatible system running Linux.
The instrument has one build in \'default\' setting. Please use this setting as a starting point for your own experiments to get somewhat familiar with its usage. Please be careful when playing it at the corner of non-linearity as the sound may break out quite loud on crossing the limit border. Please do first adjust your microphones recording level according to the default setting before you change any instrument settings.
