Summary : The kernel-vserver devel files for 3rdparty modules build
|
Description :
This package contains the kernel-devel files that should be enough to build 3rdparty drivers against for use with kernel-vserver-2.6.22.19-1mdv.
If you want to build your own kernel, you need to install the full kernel-vserver-source-2.6.22.19-1mdv rpm.
NOTE: This kernel is built with Vserver support. It has no Mandriva patches and no third-party drivers. Linux-VServer provides virtualization for GNU/Linux systems. This is accomplished by kernel level isolation. It allows to run multiple virtual units at once. Those units are sufficiently isolated to guarantee the required security, but utilize available resources efficiently, as they run on the same kernel.
