Description :
Language file for libsrtm.
This library downloads and reads SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) files to interpolate the height at requested points. The Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) obtained elevation data on a near-global scale to generate the most complete high-resolution digital topographic database of Earth. SRTM consisted of a specially modified radar system that flew onboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour during an 11-day mission in February of 2000. This library requires an active internet connection to download the SRTM data files, unless they are already pre-installed in the cache directory. This library uses libsoup to download the data files from internet and the interface is presented as a gobject. Furthermore it uses libzzip (zzipmmapped) to unpack the data files.
