Description :
The php-curl package contains a dynamic shared object
(DSO) for the Apache Web Server. When compiled into Apache
the php-curl module will add cURL support to PHP. cURL
is a tool for transferring files using URL syntax. If
you need cURL support for PHP applications, you will
need to install this package.
