Description :
This package contains the tools required to configure a Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 2.1 system for the installation of Oracle9i
Release 2 (9.2.0). It includes the following:
- a script (/usr/sbin/oracle-init.sh) to create the
necessary users and groups for Oracle, modify the runtime kernel
parameters for Oracle, and otherwise prepare the system accordingly
- initscripts for the Oracle database and Oracle listener
After installing this RPM, see README.oracle-init for additional
instructions.
