Summary : Generic location framework for GNU Emacs
|
Description :
This directory tree holds several Emacs packages, usually related to location information: - The geo-xdg Lisp library. - The geo Lisp library. - The geo-solar Lisp package. - The geo-ip Lisp package. - The geo-nm Lisp package.
* geo-xdg.el `geo-xdg\' provides location information to GNU Emacs, using the XDG GeoClue API. Some documentation is provided inside the docstrings, and a manual is also available.
* geo.el `geo\' is a generic interface to location information for GNU Emacs. `geo-solar\' provides geolocation information to solar.el.
* geo-ip.el `geo-ip\' provides a geo.el backend that uses various IP geolocation services to detect the current location.
* geo-nm.el `geo-nm\' provides a geo.el backend that uses NetworkManager and the Mozilla Location Service to provide location data.
* geo-solar.el `geo-solar\' is a package that sets `calendar-longitude\' and `calendar-latitude\' by the current location provided by `geo.el\'. It is useful when using packages that use `solar.el\' instead of `geo.el\' to provide location information.
