etc-LISA rpm build for : openSUSE Tumbleweed. For other distributions click etc-LISA.

Name : etc-LISA
Version : 0.7.3 Vendor : obs://build_opensuse_org/home:frispete
Release : 1.2 Date : 2024-06-21 11:55:54
Group : Unspecified Source RPM : etc-LISA-0.7.3-1.2.src.rpm
Size : 0.04 MB
Packager : (none)
Summary : LISA convenience system settings
Description :
Supply some system settings, that allow for more convenient system
administration with the cli. Look into /etc/lisa.bashrc for the details.
This relies on bash compatible login shells and homes in /home, though.

A couple of convenient python scripts are installed:

- chperm: allow recursive chmod/chown, the former separate for files and dirs
- sortsizes: sort human readable sizes, eg. output from du -h
- reorg-dir-by-year: reorganize directories by timestamp/filename to year/file
- rpm-filter-ver-rev: filter version/revision from rpm package lists

While at it, we
- disable delta rpm fetches
- supply a custom /etc/motd
- install an improved /etc/fonts/local.conf
- pin the root environment to english (export LANG=en_US.UTF-8)
- make sure, our environment is set effectively

Enjoy your flight..
