Summary : DTA sedutil Self encrypting drive software (S3 Sleep fork)
|
Description :
This fork of sedutil, software used to work with self-encrypting drives, has been patched to allow for computers with OPAL encrypted drives to wake up not forgetting their key and therefore having to restart.
Recommended, easy to use restrictions are here. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Self-encrypting_drives#Waking_up_from_suspend
libata.allow_tpm must be set to 1 (true) in order to use sedutil. Either add libata.allow_tpm=1 to the kernel parameters, or by setting /sys/module/libata/parameters/allow_tpm to 1 on a running system.
