Description :
This package contains a plugin for use with the VMware Tools daemon (vmtoolsd). The timeSync VMware Tools Daemon plugin allows maintaining correct guest time in absence of NTP server and is also responsible for synchronizing guest time with the host at startup and after resume.

NOTE: This is an OSP component package and is generally not directly installed by end users. The standard practice is to pick a VMware Tools meta packages (such as vmware-tools-esx or vmware-tools-esx-nox) and install it.
