Summary : Common Music (CM 2.4.0, 05/22/2003) and Common Lisp Music (CLM 2, 06/20/2003)
|
Description :
This package contains both CM 2.4.0 [05/22/2003] (Common Music) and CLM 2 [06/20/2003] (Common Lisp Music), built on top of clisp Common Lisp.
Common Music (CM), by Rick Taube, is an object-oriented music composition environment. It produces sound by transforming a high-level representation of musical structure into a variety of control protocols for sound synthesis and display. Common Music defines an extensive library of compositional tools and an API through which the composer can easily modify and extend the system.
Common Lisp Music, by Bill Schottstaedt (CLM, for lack of a catchier name), is a music synthesis and signal processing package in the Music V family.
This package requires the ALSA sound driver to be installed.
