FVWM is a powerful ICCCM-compliant multiple virtual desktop window manager
for the X Window System.
This 2.5 version includes new features like full support of the EWMH
(Enhanced Window Manager Hints) specification, internationalization,
improved window decoration code (no flickering anymore), bi-directional
asian text support, FreeType font support (antialiasing), image rendering,
Perl based module library, support for PNG images, side titles and much more.
If you speak about changing locale, then you may open FvwmConsole
(Alt-F12 in fvwm-themes) and type:
Restart env LANG=tt_RU.utf8 fvwm-themes-start
This runs fvwm under a different locale. You may restart your existing
applications as well. To make it automatical, you may add \"export
LANG=...\" line into .xinitrc before starting fvwm-themes-start or fvwm.
But if you speak about changing key maps on the fly, then you don\"t need
to restart anything, there is xmodmap command and several frondends to
it, like xruskb. Search freshmeat.net to find more.
