|
Description :
K Desktop Environment. As dvdauthor does not make it possible to integrate the original menus, K9Copy reproduces the original structure of the DVD-9 to DVD-5 format.
Similar to DVD shrink, k9copy shrinks a dual layer disc 9Gb or less aka DVD-9 down to the regular single layer 4.7Gb or less DVD-5 size.
It also saves the original navigation menus as well as letting you decide which language formats to save or remove, e.g. saving all English and removal of French and Spanish, etc. will save space and clutter, aka DVD authoring.
Straight forward use for manging DVD-9 to DVD-5 backups of your favorite DVDs.
If you would rather keep the exact original dual layer DVD-9 format to be used with an actual dual layer dvd disc, use K3b for its faster ripping without need of the encoding features that k9copy can do, which will save you expendable time.
